For me, this fragrance started off as a boozy blast from the first spray, personally way too strong for my liking, but then dried down into a beautifully sweet, syrupy, glowing scent, as the (at first) overpowering rum note slowly fades down and compliments the glowing, leathery undertones.

The journey this scent takes me on from the first spray till the far drydown is simply one of the best experiences.I wish i didn't waste so much time reading hyperbolic reviews on this, as its just a masterpiece, as simple as that. I think there is a sweetness from cinnamon, vanilla, rum that balances out the smoky incense and headier spices. It resembles Amber Malaki in the opening, but then it gets rich and heavy on spices, which might be a tad sharp for some.
