Leading the way since 2006, Daniel Craig plays the suave super-spy, James Bond. With No Time to Die being his fifth appearance in the franchise, Craig still trails Sean Connery and Roger Moore in the number of Bond roles— Connery appeared in six (seven if you account the non-canon Never Say Never Again), and Moore starred in seven. Craig has solidified himself as one of the best Bonds ever and truly went out on a high note with No Time to Die.

My only complaint with this film is that there is quite a lot of fan service and there are times where it may be too much for certain viewers. I loved almost every moment of it though, even if there are one or two moments that really had me rolling my eyes. Other than a few moments that feel slightly forced in comparison with the rest of the movie, they ended up being very minor issues to me. All in all, this Bond film tries to cover all the bases that a classic James Bond film would have and I believe that it immensely worked well. He went on to call the film a "massive collaborative effort", adding "that was the headline really, just make it better. So we all input into it in varying ways. I tend not to shut up or keep my mouth shut about things and the only reason I want to get involved is because I just want it to be the best it can be.Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology. Concerns over how the pandemic may affect the film’s success have been no secret and producer Barbara Broccoli has optimistically weighed in during a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter: “It sounds like the Chinese authorities are doing everything they can to contain it.” Guessing who the next actor to play James Bond is always a fun pastime, but with Daniel Craig taking his final bow, speculation has been rampant over who may don the tuxedo next.

After Sam Mendes directed the last two Daniel Craig Bond films ( Skyfall and Spectre), the franchise is got some fresh blood with Cary Joji Fukunaga at the helm, the first American to ever occupy the director’s chair for a James Bond movie. The movie has the usual hallmarks of espionage, gadgets and fancy cars but they all feel like uninspired ingredients that are expected of the franchise at this point. Thematically there's a lot of concise narrative choices that reinforce ideas of "legacy" and how one wants to be remembered for their "time". Often it feels all the effort almost excessive but at least it drives the point home. The official synopsis reads: "Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology." Related: No Time to Die is a "love story" that "ties up all the storylines" of Daniel Craig's 007 era In the final moments of the film, M, Moneypenny, Nomi, Q, and Bill Tanner stood around to toast Bond's sacrifice, symbolically also offering Craig the send-off he wholeheartedly deserves for his time as 007. Who made up the ‘No Time to Die’ cast?WhattoWatch has put many of the prospective Bond candidates in a single place for you to read about. The supporting cast is quite fun with their own entertaining quirks. The greenhorn CIA agent, (Ana de Armas who feels oddly wasted to only have one act in the film) the new contentious 007's (Lashana Lynch) rivalry with Bond, Q being Q etc.

Whoever may be the next James Bond, don't expect to hear any news until 2022. In an interview with BBC Radio 4, Bond producer Barbara Broccoli said "We're not thinking about it at all. We want Daniel to have his time of celebration. Next year we'll start thinking about the future." still from No Time to Die final international trailer, Universal Pictures UK, Eon Productions et al., YouTube No Time to Die DVD release date confirmed I love all the James Bond films with Daniel Craig in.I went to the cinema to see it.Its fantastic and yes I cried. But I can now watch it over and over again. The story carries on from Skyfall. So if you have watched that it's easy to follow. But if you haven't it's very entertaining,My daughter hadn't and she loved it and she also cried. Newcomers to the saga include Game Night's Billy Magnussen, Craig's Knives Outco-star Ana de Armas, Captain Marvel's Lashana Lynch and Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek as villainous tech whizz Safin. Maniac's Cary Joji Fukunaga directs. Variety described the film as the best Bond entry since Casino Royale and the send-off that Craig deserved. The Hollywood Reporter and The Wrap also praised the film, calling it surprisingly devastating and emotional like few Bond films before it.
